TWIG – Plant label
2021
Twig is a reinterpretation of the traditional plant tag typically found in botanical gardens. A pole and a frame are united into one continuous element supporting a removable information tag. The loop at the top comes in helpful to remove the tag from the ground, and to hang it for convenient storing. The vertical format gives an elegant impression and is reminiscent of books standing on shelves, as to create a "library of plants". The name Twig was inspired by the resemblance of the metal structure with a slender woody shoot.
The dimensions of both information tag and metal frame are defined by a grid, which ensures a harmonious rigor throughout the product.
The information tag and the frame can be easily separated to minimize waste and facilitate recycling
